Out she steps from the shower; towel around her chest tightly. Her phone blank. She wonders into her bedroom to escape the noise of the TV. The iPod plugged into the iHome plays music she regularly plays. A Fine Frenzy, He is We, Boys like Girl… And just as a particular lyric plays the tears begin to fall.
"…I got my eyes set on you, my heart is burning red! All of my words come out wrong, run circles in my head. You have me and I'm melted in the palm of your hand! You know it, yes I felt it. You'll never understand…"
Curled up in her office chair, her phone thrown onto her desk, she hugs a stuffed donkey he gave her. She smiles at the memories that played in her head. The times they were watching movies turning into make out sessions. Cuddling up at the football games for heat. Waiting after school for him after his practices. Getting caught kissing after school with a phone call from her mother.
Each memory she smiled at and held the stuffed donkey closer. Her heart did a little flip as she replayed the song again. That one quote hitting her with tears again as she sang aloud with it. Remembering the day he walked past her to go to the board in class and the song hit the same quote and her heart did a giant flip in her chest. She then realized that she loved him.
The song finally ended again and she let in play onto the next one. She uncurled herself to tighten the towel around her, preparing to stand and walk to her dresser. The small donkey set on her keyboard next to her cell phone. Just as she turned her back a loud vibration was heard on the wood, her phone lit up with her name and a text message.
By now the song playing was All about us By He is we. She went back and picked up her phone, unlocking the screen to read the text. It was from him alright. Tears hit her eyes once more. The text took a second to appear then finally a several page text appeared. She was overwhelmed as she began to read.
" babe, I don't think I could evr leave you, you are the love of my life, I could nvr leave you cuz I don't know how, w/ out you in my life, my life means nothing. You are my soul mate, the love of my life. I love you <3333 I always have and I will nvr stop <3333"
She reread the text over and over before she could respond. There was no fight to start this, no argument or debate. All she mentioned before her shower is how she was ready to break down. So much has happened she was giving in to the feeling to break down. And even doubt she was feeling with their relationship. It wasn't a very strong feeling and she knew she was being silly…and that text proved it to her. She only had one response to him…
" I love you <3333333 I don't know what else to say…."
"That's all you have to say babe : ) <333333"

So...yes this is true. Tonight i was really really down because of recent event that have been very emotional. Horses getting sick, dealing with that and a 7 year old involved. Not being able to see my bf for awhile. It all took its tole on me today.
There was obviously more to the text from him but i wasnt about to actually quote it word for word. And there is obviously more the the conversation after wards but Im just lazy XD
